INSURANCE
Your furniture and household goods are insured under Carriers' Liability Insurance while in transit with Manawatu Movers. This means that if the removal vehicle is involved in an accident and the furniture is damaged, the cover is as follows:
- $250,000 maximum per load
- $1,500 per item maximum
- $200 excess.
We give you this insurance free of charge!
If items exceed $1500 or you require a more comprehensive cover please contact your own insurance company.
Items not covered by insurance:
Electrical appliances if they fail to operate at new address.
Items where cracking or damage is already occurring and torn, scratched or dented items.
Items packed by clients.
